You will live in me either as love, grief or pain

My last gift was a book 

Still remember your excitement and child like look

The pages unread and crease you left will remain

So will the thoughts I want to share,

Accept them till we meet again

You helped anyone you could

Stepped up and kept promises more than anyone would

Like a tree takes a creeper in an embrace ,

Like a rock you stood by come sun or rain

I will pray for strength to do the same ,

Strengthen me till we meet again

The void you have left ,the gap that is formed 

We all struggle each day to not notice but carry on

But I will try so long as I can, to heal the pain

Correct me till we meet again

It became strangely simple since the day you were gone 

To solve a problem, to tell the right from wrong 

All I have to do is think what you would have done

I find my answer right there And I know how to move on

I hope you knew what you meant to me

Your love and kindness was all that people could see
